Terrible. We went here for my friend's 50th birthday and the food was god awful. I know Red Lobster isn't authentic, no surprise there, but this food tasted like it came out of the freezer and was microwaved. The shrimp tacos had a nasty after taste and the chicken tasted like rubber. Not one person in our group enjoyed their meal.

We decided to go tonite for Good Friday dinner. Hadn't been in years. WILL NOT GO BACK! Waited over 45 minutes (accepted because of a weekend night). Very unclean. Bussboy wiping tables with dirty towel and pushing garbage on seats and floor. Soup was watery and mediocre. Salad wilted and mushy. Shrimp no better than frozen from the grocery store. Baked potato obviously reheated in microwave (gluey) and dessert a joke and this special was not cheap either! Steer clear!

Calamari appetizer was dry and tasted like cardboard. It was the worst calamari I've ever had.

Once I got out of the hospital I knew the shrimp fest ended 11-2-14, So this was on my immediate list. Walked in at 1pm & were promptly seated, Cat our server arrived right away & took drink orders , when she returned we both ordered the endless shrimp $16 pp. I ordered the Caesars salad, the bride ordered coleslaw , I had to send the Caesars salad back as it was way too salty, Cat apologized and said " our dressing is made with fresh anchovies and at times can be too much " She was very cool about it & swapped it for a tossed salad. My 1st shrimp order was: Garlic Shrimp Scampi Sriracha Grilled Shrimp Hand-Breaded Shrimp The Shrimp Scampi was EXCELLENT & the hand breaded was very good! I did not care at all for the shrimp Sriracha at all.... on my refill I ordered Coconut Shrimp Bites Hand-Breaded Shrimp Parmesan Shrimp Scampi Parmesan Shrimp Scampi was excellent...much like the garlic scampi , but the aged Parmesan gave it a nice bite Coconut shrimp was golden brown perfection & that addictive sweet dipping sauce Cat kept our table clear & provided to go boxes , good experience 4 stars, because the lobby-common areas-booths-bathrooms are tired , this place needs an update

I was very disappointed to find last time I went to this restaurant they have changed their menu and took off the one vegetarian option they once had available. I had to create my own entree, and was heavier than I would've liked. I won't likely be returning, unless I was to order a meal of all sides- no thanks!

This is my favorite restaurant. The staff is always very helpful. The food has always been of great. Sometimes the service is a little slow. they have great frozen drinks & a lot of different and great desserts to choose from. Endless shrimp is the best!

This particular Red Lobster was clean - OMG!!!! Now that is an anomoly. You should visit the one on Telegraph at Warren Rd., ugh! Went to Red Lobster for a birthday dinner - my son, he chose this particular place. So, here I am with my favorite people, my son, his wife and my two beautiful grandchildren! I am very happy and out come the rolls! Ohhhhh, if I remember the rolls are to die for! I tell myself I can have one only. So, I take one and lo and behold it was not as delicious as I remembered. I can do without all these extra calories so I put it aside. I decide on crab legs. Yummmmm. But, you have to work to get your food! Everyone else gets ready to eat meals and here I am, only having done this one time before, struggling with the cracker to get my meat out of those darned legs!!!! Ugh. Had a great time and I would highly recommend this restaurant - don't go to the other one that I mentioned - it is mighty scarey!!!!

I love this place. This was my first time at a Red Lobster in my life, I was always put off by them being a chain and always thought the food would be low quality. But I was really craving seafood for my birthday and read the reviews and decided to give this place a shot, and boy am I happy that I did. The drinks were amazing, delicious mixed drinks where I couldn't taste the alcohol. I do wish they'd given me time to finish it before bringing our food out because once I eat I can't drink alcohol. Anyway, the food was delicious. Often fish is either under or overcooked, but my salmon and shrimp were perfect. And I am the pickiest salmon eater, they left the skin on, which some people like, but it comes off easily. Their tartar sauce wasn't generic, it was a little sweet, and it complimented my fish perfectly. I also had crispy red skinned potatoes that were light, crispy and hot when they were brought to the table. Our waitress asked us right away if it was a special occasion and despite the warning I gave to my mother in the parking lot she still blurted out that it was my birthday. I have nothing against birthday celebrations but I don't want the attention from it, the waitress was nice about not making it a big deal and discreetly brought me a dish of ice cream with a candle because she insisted I had to at least make a wish. She was super friendly, fast and very thoughtful. Her name was Janice, try to sit in her section. The price was lower than I expected, for 2 people it came to $45. The portions were good, not the American supersize you get at most places, but completely filling and even though I finished my meal I couldn't have eaten another bite. Luckily my birthday cake was at home and I had 18 minutes between Red Lobster and cake for my food to settle. I don't go out to eat often but I always do for my birthday. Most often I'm disappointed with the food wherever I go and I can say for the first time in 40 years I had a perfect birthday dinner and will probably repeat the experience next year.

DH, MIL and I went here for unlimited shrimp dinner on Sunday night around 8:15. We only had to wait a minute, literally. We tried the wasabi soy grilled shrimp, fried shrimp, and shrimp alfredo. We each got Caesar salad and biscuits...oh the biscuits. I confess that I really don't need the shrimp, a basket of biscuits would do the trick. The wasabi soy had a good flavor, but when I started my second skewer, they started to just taste gross. The fried shrimp were pretty standard, and the portion was plentiful. The shrimp alfredo was too saucy for me, but the flavor is what I would expect from an alfredo (maybe they go next door to the OG and get it!). Our server was friendly and I don't think we have ever had a bad server here. She was prompt with refills in beverages and shrimp. As soon as she brought one refill she asked what we would like next.

My family and I have been dining at this particular Red Lobster for years. We always get great service and the friendly atmosphere is a huge plus. However, tonight we were there celebrating my daughter's birthday and our server Darrell was over the top. Anyone wanting a great dining experience should visit this establishment and ask to sit in his section. We were a party of seven and he performed a birthday solo that made my little girl feel so special. Red Lobster you have a gem in this guy so treat him right and give him a huge kudos!!! BEST SERVER I'VE SEEN IN THE WHOLE DETROIT AREA!!!!

Why do I keep coming back here?? Okay, first off, after the horrible experience I had a few months ago at a different Red Lobster and NO response from management I wrote Red Lobster off totally. However, my S/O thinks this place is the best thing since sliced bread and I had a gift card. So last week I decided to break my "fast" and we would try this location since it had better reviews. We were happy to see the place was friendly and fast. It was my S/O, myself and our blended family of boys 15, 14, and 2.5 years old. They have a really great special going on for $14.99 with soup, salad, entree and dessert which was a great deal for the teenage boys with bottomless pit stomachs. Our server was attentive. My dish had lobster, shrimp and scallops. It was "ok" but again, I'm a spoiled brat. My scallops didn't seem to have much flavor, and I didn't like them (normally they are my favorite). Since I'd never had them here before, I just chalked it up to me liking them prepared a certain way. If the review ended there it'd be an ok experience... but then in the middle of the night one of the boys got sick. Throwing up and all the other bad stuff that comes along with food poisioning. In the morning, I was a little concerned since he'd had the shrimp & scallop pasta dish and I'd had both shrimp and scallops (all of us had shrimp). Well, a few hours later - bam! - it hits me. I spent all night in the bathroom as well. I've only gotten food poisoning twice from eating out and both times it was a Darden chain (last time it was Olive Garden in 2010 though I've eaten there many times without incident). Sorry Red Lobster, you redeemed yourself with the service portion but I don't think I can be dragged back anytime soon. The second star is only because the $14.99 deal was a really good idea, I just don't appreciate getting sick.

Meh, Why do I keep coming back here? Because the pina colada dipping sauce for the coconut shrimp is amazing in my mouth! The food is so so and super expensive for what you get...sub-par seafood. Note to self, don't come back here...

Went back with some friends on St Patrick's Day. Who'd have thought that Red Lobster would be PACKED? Apparently when you think of green beer and corned beef, you think of Red Lobster. There was a 30 minute wait but the service and food made it worthwhile! Another great visit - kudos to Karen for stellar service during a really busy afternoon.

This place continues to worse and worse. Prices continue to go up, while quality of the food continues to decrease. The Ultimate Feast, my personal favorite, is now north of $25, while the quality of the crab legs and lobster is awful compared to 5 or 10 years ago. Also, my favorite appetizer, the New England Appetizer Sampler, has been removed from the menu. Next time I want seafood, I will head over to Mitchell's, spend the same amount, and get better quality food.

I was very impressed with this Red Lobster location. I hold chain restaurants to a higher threshold and expectation - and they really delivered. The customer service here was unparalleled. Seriously. They were so attentive and wanting to make sure my wife and I had a great dinner. They let me compound coupons, sensing that I was sad that I couldn't. They brought the food out perfect and fresh. I boxed a small amount of leftover soup to take home so they topped off a little extra for me. They knew we loved the Cheddar Bay biscuits, and it was the end of the night so they let us take a bunch home. Our waitress, who was an absolute darling, said so many biscuits end up going to waste at the end of the night and that they may as well send extra home. The food, while predictable, was still made up to the par level of Red Lobster recipes. I am not kidding when I say the customer service here, especially when they can tell you are a foodie, is out of this world. Not something common to see these days. I can not guarantee every Red Lobster experience at every location as unique as this. But under the current management, I can say this location is A-1! Especially for a nighttime dinner, as we went around 9pm. We will definitely be going here a couple times a year.

Its Red Lobster! Food is usually pretty good. This location is clean. Can be very crowded at times so you may have to wait especially on the weekends for dinner. Chedda' Bay Biscuits- oh yeah!

My mom and I were craving fish for lunch so we visited our nearby Red Lobster. I've been away for about 18 months so I have not been to my local Red Lobster in awhile. I noticed the restaurant was very clean inside. The servers all very busy and attentive; I sensed pride and teamwork. My mom ordered the Fried Seafood Platter. The really nice thing was that her food didn't look or taste greasy. It was fried to perfection. The selection of fish was fresh and plenty. I ordered the Chef's Pasta - lunch portion. I asked for alfredo sauce to replace the lobster butter sauce. The meal was hot, plentiful, fresh with large pieces of lobster and shrimp. The asparagus was also very tasty. The only bummer is that this meal has replaced their most awesome crawfish pasta that they used to serve here. The meals were a bargain when you consider the value vs the cost of the meal Delicious with the Alfredo sauce replacing the lobster butter sauce. Large pieces of lobster and very tasty shrimp. Served nice and hot. Fettuccini was cooked to perfection. Excellent meal for the price.

Went here for an early dinner with my daughter. She loves seafood, I do not. I ordered the sirloin with blue cheese, along with their new roasted red skin potatoes and a cup of clam chowder. I have to admit, it wasn't very good. My soup was hot (clearly microwaved), but rather tasteless. Even with generous additions of salt and pepper it still was bland. My steak was ok - not great, but for a sea food restaurant they didn't do too bad of a job. My server never offer me steak sauce though. The steak itself was not the highest quality. Despite the fact that I ordered it medium, it was served more rare (not a big deal, I can eat rare). It was quite tough though. The crispy red skin potatoes weren't bad, crunchy outside, melt in your mouth inside. Had they served them with some sort of dipping sauce they would have been out of this world. On their own: I found them lacking. My daughter had the shrimp and she said it was just ok. She also had mashed potatoes and said they were good, but had a strange consistency. We had a good laugh over the scoop of potatoes, it reminded me of the ice cream scoop of mashies we were served in elementary school. I don't need to tell you there was no gravy to be had. There was a strange odor in the dining room, like spoiled food or an over flowing trash can that was extremely off-putting. The cheesy garlic biscuits were the best part of our dinner, and our waitress, Kathleen, was fabulous! Even though she forgot to offer me steak sauce (I admit I didn't ask, but usually it's offered), her personality was great and she was really on the ball. If I went back, I'd request her section. I honestly didn't enjoy my meal - I found it quite pricey for the quality of food we received.

Me: hey honey your birthdays coming up, anywhere special you want to go. Wife: Red Lobster Me: Red Lobster? But we can go there anytime. Isn't there somewhere you have been wanting to try? Wife: Nope, let's go to Red Lobster. Me: But we have been to Red Lobster a few times already this year. How about... But we always end up at Red Lobster. I think it might be the cheddar biscuits and I do admit they are really good, especially when you get a batch straight from the oven. Also Red Lobster always seems to have some sort of special going on like Crab Fest, Lobster Fest, Sea Horse Fest or some other Fest of something from the sea and those commercials somehow make it look so good. Almost always you can find something for $15 to $20 that'll include crab legs or a lobster tail and shrimp or scallops. Sometimes I opt for the Ultimate feast for $25 and that's a lot of food. The food is usually very good. Even though it's called Red Lobster I've never ordered a lobster here. I've had plenty of lobster tails (and lobster pizza) but never a whole lobster. I don't really know why that is except the combo plates always seem the way to go. The sides and salads are alright, nothing special but your not here for the mashed potatoes or side salad anyway right? Overall I always enjoy dinner here but I'm still going to try and talk my wife into someplace else every year but unless they stop making cheddar biscuits I doubt I'll be successful.

The only thing keeping this from a 4 star rating was my dish, which was a lobster tail & shrimp combination plate. It looked kind of ugly sitting on the plate, like it had been put through the wringer. The lobster tail was small and over cooked and the shrimp and scallops were under seasoned. It wasn't really that bad though, because I ate it all. It also was a little on the luke warm side but that could be due to the fact that I was busy trying out my dates dish which was way better than mine. Hers was a 4 course meal for $15 that included a desert which we split. Her entree was a garlic shrimp & chicken fettuccine Alfredo which was actually pretty darn great. I wish I got her meal or just a whole lobster or crabs legs which looked huge on other peoples plates. Those people looked very satisfied sitting there with empty shells and leaning back to make room for their bellies. Pros: Drink choices abound. Service was excellent and despite the very busy state of the place they were surprisingly pleasant. This location is better than the one in Warren in terms of quality and service. Cons: Inconsistency in food. The signature biscuits were good but not as buttery and garlic salty as previous encounters (could have used more garlic salt or whatever magic they put on these). It's busy at dinner time so prepare to wait. 3.5 Stars

Since moving here to Michigan we've been to a coup,e of red lobsters and I gotta say this location has by far been the best!. It's clean, decor is up to date, the staff has been wonderful. In the past we have ordered the ultimate feast plate but we've noticed that its kinda got skimpy, little crab legs small portions. So his time I convinced my hubby to order the lobster tail plate and I order the lobster tacos, and it was really good! Overall my family & I like this spot & will continue to come to this location. I gave it a 4 because they only take printed coupons and not via smartphone.

Red Lobster is great. It has great food. I have been here in the past and then recently. There a older lady waitress that is just FANTASTIC. She does what every waitress should do to give great customer service. I can't remember her name though but when I do I will post it.
